Police in Dover have arrested a man in Mayfield Avenue on suspicion of kidnap following an extensive search of the area. The man, aged 44, was arrested at 8.33am on Saturday morning (12 March 2011) and transferred to Thames Valley.
The previous night a police helicopter assisted officers involved in the search for the offender, in conjunction with Thames Valley police. The kidnap did not occur in Kent.
