Dover District Council is getting ready to make a big noise to help keep our communities informed and to help promote Noise Action Week, which runs from 23-27 May.
A special roadshow is taking to the streets during the week, and members of the Environmental Protection Team will be on hand to let people know about a range of noise issues. A marquee will be set up in Dover Market Square from 9.30am to 1pm on Monday 23 May, and at locations in Deal and Sandwich later in the week.
Members of the team are also visiting Sandwich Technology School to speak to pupils in Public Services class about noise issues, people's responsibilities to others, and the work carried out by the Environmental Protection Team to help address noise matters.
For more information on noise issues, or to report noise nuisance, visit the DDC website at www.dover.gov.uk or call 01304 872215.
