Officers are appealing for information following a fatal collision near Deal.
Police were called at about 8.40am this morning (Friday 31 August) to a report of a two vehicle collision on Ringwould Road, in Kingsdown, close to the A258.
The incident involved a dark grey/black Renault Megane and a silver Renault Clio.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was flown to a London hospital with injuries believed to be serious.
Ringwould Road is currently closed in both directions while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigate the fatal collision. The road could remain closed up until 2pm.
