Leader of Dover District Council, Cllr Paul Watkins, has backed the 'Grow For It' East Kent marketing campaign, launched on Wednesday (28 November 2012) at the Dover Cruise Terminal by leading experts Severn Hills on behalf of Kent County Council.
Cllr Watkins said: "Dover District is at a turning point in its regeneration plans, and we are committed to doing everything we can to support new businesses and job creation across the district. We have the planning designations in place and have realigned our Corporate Plan to focus on growth and delivery.
"This is a great campaign that promotes the benefits of living, working, visiting and investing in East Kent. With the district's unique natural and heritage assets, world-renowned port, and the opportunity for exciting new developments at Discovery Park, Dover District is ready to 'Grow For It'.'"
