The young woman who died after a car overturned near Dover early on Saturday morning (17 August 2013) has been named as 23-year-old Emma Willis of Larch Road, Elvington.
Emma was a passenger in a blue Vauxhall Corsa that left the road and turned over in a field beside Sandwich Road, Waldershare, at 1.55am.
Her family has paid tribute to Emma and released the following tribute.
"We can't believe Emma has gone. She was always joking and laughing. Anyone that knew her will never meet anyone like her again.
"She was looking forward to watching Liverpoool play. As she said, it will be the only time that they will be at the top of the league.
"We will always miss her and love her forever."
There were four people in the car and a 21-year-old man, also a passenger, was taken to King's College Hospital where his condition on Tuesday morning (20 August 2013) is described as critical but stable.
Kent Police is investigating the circumstances of the collision and officers have arrested four people in connection with the incident. The three men and a woman, all from the Dover area, have been interviewed and have been released on police bail whilst the investigation continues.
DS Scott Lynch from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "We believe this Corsa was in convoy with two other vehicles that night and I ask anyone who witnessed the actual collision or the manner in which the cars were being driven in the Elvington or Whitfield areas to contact the serious collision investigation unit."
