Finance team members at the Port of Dover are celebrating the achievement of Rachael Oyedeji in passing her ACCA accountancy examinations to achieve affiliate status.
Rachael is pictured receiving a congratulatory bottle of champagne from Chief Executive Tim Waggott, who said: "We are hugely delighted to share in Rachael's success, and I am personally proud that she has passed the examinations necessary to join the professional body I qualified with a number of years ago. ACCA membership has provided me with a vital career stepping stone and I'm sure Rachael will go on to develop a great career for herself. Our commitment to our staff is shown in the support we provide them in studying for additional qualifications and continuous professional development."
In thanking the Port of Dover and in particular the support of Financial Controller Jean Grigg as her immediate line manager, Rachael Oyedeji said: "This is a great place to work, and I'm proud to be associated with the organisation." As for the champagne, she added "Thank you for that lovely surprise, it really caught me unawares but I'll cherish every moment of it."
