Police investigating a fatal road collision near Dover which claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy have charged a taxi driver with causing death by careless driving.
The collision between a Skoda Octavia taxi and an excavator occurred in the early hours of Friday 15 March 2013 on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 at Shepherdswell.
The 13-year-old boy died at the scene.
48-year-old Nawzad Salih Hussein of Cassino Square, Burgoyne Heights, Dover was charged today and released on bail to answer before Folkestone Magistrates on Monday 28 October.
