Work is underway on a new housing development in Dover as part of the district's high growth agenda. Elysium Park at Old Park Close in Whitfield is a development of 41 high quality homes being developed by Kent house builder, Pentland Homes.
The development of two, three and four-bedroom homes is located just two miles from Dover Priory railway station with its high-speed train connections to London St Pancras. Set in a leafy location high above Dover, some of the properties will have contemporary elevations and sea views, whilst others will have a more traditional façade.
Cllr Paul Watkins, Leader of Dover District Council, said: "I am delighted that work is underway on another exciting housing development in the district. Building new homes is an important part of the regeneration agenda and this development promises to create new housing options for growing families in the district."
Julia Price, Sales and Marketing Director at Pentland Homes, said: "Elysium Park is a hidden gem in a truly lovely setting. It offers both a fantastic coastal and country location perfect for families or couples who want to be in a uniquely tranquil location, yet benefit from very fast commuter links into London."
