Local residents are invited to come along to the 'You Decide' event for the Dover North area on Saturday 2 November at Northbourne Parish Hall from 9.45am. Attendees will see a range of community projects presented before being invited to take a vote on their favourites.
This community grant scheme, funded jointly by KCC and DDC enables groups to put forward their projects and directly involves local people in recommending how grants are awarded.
Each community group will give a two minute presentation on their project prior to a public vote when local people will be able to vote electronically on how they score each project. Voting will take place between 11.30am to 12.30pm. The top scoring projects will be recommended for funding and the results will be announced after voting is finished.
Light refreshments will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to meet your local County, District and Town Councillors. This is an open meeting and all residents are welcome.
