Nine community projects were successful in their bid for funding at the 'You Decide' event for the Dover Town area held at Dover Town Hall on Saturday (16 November 2013), where a total of almost £17,000 was available.
Community groups showcased their projects to the public via exhibitions, and this was followed by an electronic vote where the local community scored each project. The projects that received the highest scores have now been recommended for funding. The 'You Decide' community grant scheme is jointly administered by KCC and DDC.
Recommendations are subject to approval by KCC and DDC.
