Officers charge teenagers following burglaries in Dover

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with burglaries in Dover.

Kent Police received a report of a burglary at an address in Lewisham Road, River which is believed to have taken place at about 5am on Saturday 29 November.

A computer tablet, phone and car keys had been taken.

A vehicle had also been taken.

On 19 November, police were called to a report of a burglary in Reach Road, St Margarets at Cliffe, Dover in which a television was taken from an address.

Two teenagers from Dover were arrested on 29 November.

The 17-year-old boy and a 16 year old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with two counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

They have been bailed to appear at Folkestone youth court on 6 January.
