Dover Town Council and Dover District Council are holding a joint commemoration to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1 with a service and wreath laying ceremony outside Dover Town Council offices from 9.15am on Monday 4 August.
There will be a short service at the War Memorial outside the Council offices, and the Chairman of Dover District Council, Cllr Sue Nicholas, and the Right Worshipful the Town Mayor of Dover, Cllr Pam Brivio will lay wreaths. Residents and visitors are invited to attend and join the Town and District Councils as we continue to remember all those who lost their lives.
