Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after an elderly pedestrian was killed near Dover.
An 83-year-old man was walking on Sandwich Road in Whitfield at 5pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 29 November 2015).
He was reportedly hit by a dark coloured car, possibly a Renault Megane or Mazda part registration GJ13 and fell to the ground and was then struck by another vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who has not yet contacted police, particularly the occupants of the Renault Megane or Mazda, who may have important information regarding the actions of the pedestrian before the incident.
