A 21 year old man from Dover has been banned from driving for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving at Channel Magistrates' Court in Folkestone last week.
On 13 October 2015, Roshan Gurun, of Anzio Crescent, Dover, drove a Volkswagen Golf on the A258, Dover, and gave a breath test of 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Gurung must also pay a £200 fine, a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by 137 days, if, by 8 October 2016, he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
