A man from Dover was sentenced last week after being convicted of harassment.
Richard John Knott pleaded not guilty but was convicted of the offence by magistrates.
Between 1 June 2014 and 21 January 2015 the 35-year-old, of Douglas Road, Dover, sent numerous unwanted and abusive emails to two men.
Magistrates sentenced Knott to six months in prison, suspended for two years and ordered him to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay £600 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
