E-fit released following attempted robbery in Dover

Police have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak with in relation to an attempted robbery in Dover.

The incident is reported to have occurred between 8.30am and 9.18am on 19 March 2015 in waste ground off of Noah's Ark Road, Dover.

It is reported that a 12-year-old boy was walking to school when he saw a male cycling from Noah's Ark Road towards him. It is then said that as the male approached the boy he grabbed his arm and demanded money. The boy reported that he was able to free himself from the man's grip and run to his grandparents' house. He was shaken by the incident but uninjured and nothing was stolen.

The suspect is described by the victim as a dark European male, aged around 40-years-old, of slim build, around 6ft tall with stubble. He had a scar below his left eye. He wore a black hooded top with the hood up, light coloured tracksuit bottoms and trainers. He rode a black and BMX bike with a blue saddle and yellow stripes on the forks.
