Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Dover.
A 17-year-old boy was driving his orange Fiat Punto along Townwall Street in Dover just after 10.20pm on Thursday 2 April 2015 when he dropped a friend off outside the County Hotel.
But as he stopped, a group of teenagers of similar age began hitting his car, causing his wing mirror to come off.
As he tried to drive away, he became stuck in traffic and one of the group jumped on to the bonnet of the car and began stomping on the windscreen. He was also verbally threatened during the incident whilst the rest of group stood next to the central reservation of the road.
The teenager's car sustained several hundred pounds worth of damage as a result.
Officers investigating the incident are keen for witnesses to come forward.
PC Stephen Noddings said: "We are treating this as an isolated incident and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the group in the area before, during or after the car was damaged."
Anyone with information should contact PC Noddings on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/9822/15.
