Shaun Pottage, Finance Director, Port of Dover, says: "As the continuing major sponsor of Young Enterprise in Dover District, we wholeheartedly believe in helping to develop the skills of local young people in order that they can succeed in business after education. The Port of Dover is working to create a culture of enterprise in our local community, making Dover a place of opportunity when we all play our part to create a better future for us all."
Trudie Hartridge, East Kent Area Manager, Young Enterprise says: "The Awards highlighted how the Young Enterprise Company Programme can inspire young people to become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow and help them develop practical business skills while they are still at school. The Company Programme is a great platform for students to develop their skills such as confidence, teamwork and resilience and interact with their local business community along the way."
