Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Dover in which an elderly woman was left hospitalised.
It has been reported that the victim, a 90-year-old woman was walking up Cowgate Hill at about 3.10pm on Saturday (6 June 2015).
She was approached from behind by two boys, one believed to be riding a bicycle similar to a BMX.
One of the boys grabbed the victim and pulled her backwards, causing her to fall over, before he took her purse and mobile phone. Both boys then fled the scene.
The victim was left with head and arm injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
One boy was described as about 10 years old, around 4ft tall, with dark brown hair. He was wearing dark jeans, and a dark grey hooded top.
The second boy, on a bicycle, was slightly older with dark brown hair and was wearing dark jeans and a dark blue top.
Investigating officer Detective Hannah Parker said: "This was a nasty attack on an elderly lady who has been left very distressed by the incident.
"This sort of incident is thankfully rare and we are carrying out several lines of enquiry. We want to thank the witnesses who have come forward already but we urge anyone who was in the area at the time and might have information which could help our investigation to get in touch."
