Officers investigating after an alleged shoplifting incident and assault in a supermarket in Bridge Street, Dover, on 14 February 2015 have arrested and charged a woman.
It is alleged that two bottles of whiskey worth £25 were stolen before a shop worker was assaulted. It is also reported that on the same day, meat worth £29 was stolen from a supermarket in Charlton Green.
Michelle Rosina Beer, 34, of Sheldon Close, Aylesham, was charged on 24 March with assault and two counts of theft from shop. She has been bailed to attend Folkestone Magistrates' Court on 20 April 2015.
