Over £26,000 was allocated by the Grants Appraisal Panel, which was made up of the District Councillors who chair the five Neighbourhood Forum areas, and was approved by Cabinet today (7 March 2016). The grants have been allocated to 34 different community groups across the district.
Community groups were invited to apply for funding for projects that could show benefit to the local area. Grants were available for up to £1,000 in each of the five Neighbourhood Forum areas (Dover West, Sandwich Area, Dover North, Dover Town, and Deal & Walmer).
