A man from Dover has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and banned from driving for three years after failing to provide a breath specimen.
Christopher Kenneth Farmer was sentenced last Wednesday (7 December 2016) at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court. He must also pay £40 costs and a £115 victim surcharge
The 29 year old, of Wycherley Crescent, Dover, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in New Street, Dover, on 27 October 2016.
Disqualification can be reduced by nine months if, by 6 January 2019, he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
