Community groups looking for funding are invited to apply for grants from the DDC Community Grants Scheme from 1 July, and the closing date for applications is 26 August 2016.
DDC is offering grant funding totalling £22,500 to community groups that can show benefit to the local area, and groups are invited to apply for individual grants from £500 up to £1,000.
Cllr Keith Morris, DDC Cabinet Member for Skills, Training, Tourism, Voluntary Services and Community Safety, said: "Community groups play a vital role in the life of the district, and we are delighted to be able to support them with the DDC Community Grants. We hope as many groups as possible apply over the summer."
