The organisers of the first ever Dover Festival 2016 have announced the headline acts for the Dover Music Festival, which will be held at the historic Port of Dover’s Cruise Terminal 1.
The Christians, who had five top 40 singles in the 1980/90s including "Harvest for the World", will take to the stage on Saturday 23 July and the late Ian Dury's band The Blockheads, who have many memorable hits to their name including "Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll", will appear on Sunday 24 July.
Now in its third year, the Dover Music Festival, along with the Port of Dover Community Regatta, taking place on 23 July, will be free and provide a wealth of entertainment for the whole family over the weekend.
Further event details are to be announced in due course but in the meantime you can follow the Dover Music Festival and Port of Dover Community Regatta Facebook pages for regular updates.
