Officers investigating a report of a rape in Dover have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The victim, a girl aged in her late teens, was walking along Charlton Green when she met a man and a woman who offered to walk with her.
The woman left soon after but the man continued to walk with the victim past Connaught Park, north along the A258 in Guston. The victim reported that during the walk she was then raped by the man in a field near the A258 before making her way home.
A member of the public came to the aid of the victim shortly after the incident and gave her a lift, and officers would like to speak to that person.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Adam Maxfield said: "We would like to find the driver of a silver car who gave a lift to the victim between 4am and 6am on 18 September as they may have information which could assist our investigation."
A 28-year-old man from Dover was arrested on Thursday 3 November in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail until 23 December 2016.
