A woman from Dover has been banned for driving for 22 months after pleading guilty to drink driving in the town.
Sarah King was sentenced last Wednesday (6 September 2017) at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court.
On 22 August 2017 the 24-year-old, of Chaucer Crescent, Dover, drove a Volkswagen Polo in London Road, Dover, and gave a breath test of 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
King must also pay a £267 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. Disqualification can be reduced by 187 days if, by 19 November 2018, she satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
