Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of a sexual assault in Dover on Thursday (23 February 2017).
The assault is believed to have taken place in an alleyway between Cannon Street and New Street between 6pm and 6.30pm.
A woman in her 20s was walking along the alleyway when she is reported to have been grabbed by two men and assaulted.
Afterwards the men, both described as white and speaking English, made off towards the Roman Painted House.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Kirstine Davies, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at that time and who may have seen the incident, or events leading up to it.
"It is a busy time of day when many people would have been on their way home from work. We ask them to cast their minds back and if they saw anything suspicious to contact us."
