Jeffrey Black, 38, of no fixed address was charged with burglary on Friday 6 April 2018.
The charge relates to a burglary at a property in Leyburne Road on Thursday 5 April.
Mr Black remains in police custody and is appearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link on Saturday 7 April.

A suspected burglar has been arrested in Dover.
Kent Police received a report yesterday (Thursday, 5 April 2018) that a burglary had taken place in residential premises in Leyburne Road.
Enquiries are ongoing to confirm whether anything was stolen during the burglary.
Later the same day, officers arrested a 38-year-old man of no fixed address on suspicion of burglary.
He currently remains in police custody.
