Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Dover.
The collision was reported to have happened on Maison Dieu Road at the junction with Crafford Street earlier today (Friday 23 March 2018).
Officers were called to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a red Ford Mondeo car at 12.32pm.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains.
The road was closed following the collision and this reopened at around 6pm.
