A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with burglaries in Dover businesses.
Kent Police is investigating reports of 21 burglaries from businesses in High Street, Biggin Street, Cherry Tree Avenue, Elms Vale Road, Pencester Road, Market Square, and Castle Street between 1 February and 5 March 2018.
Cash, cigarettes, spirits and other items have been reported stolen during the burglaries.
The man from Dover was arrested on suspicion of burglary offences yesterday afternoon (Thursday 8 March).
He was also arrested on suspicion of stealing cash from a vehicle in Stembrook Court on 15 February.
He currently remains in police custody while enquiries are ongoing.
