Detective Sergeant Nicky Steele said: “This is a nasty injury for this young girl and may result in her losing the sight in one of her eyes. We would appeal to anyone who may have been in Pencester Gardens to remember back to about 5.30pm on Monday 19 September – they may be able to assist us with further information so that we can trace the boy.”
