Its being said that no declaration was made until Cllr jones was reminded she was chief of a company and had to declare it
she forgot(paper said)
I hope the papers wrong, you cant forget your chief of a company

Maybe the hangman will not be required there may be many people present who an opportunity for a new business is more important than petty minded political name calling.

Exactly Tom. What difference does it really make? It's another business for the town and if the toilets are open then it's surely a win/win (or wee/wee) situation.

surely the whole issue is about them not being open?

Howard, that SHOULD be the issue, but as usual incompetence, finger pointing and political point scoring has clouded it.
Who's to blame? Who's right? Who's wrong? What's happening?
Quite frankly who cares, a chunk of money has been spent and a facility remains unused, heads need banging together.

All sphincters are rapidly agin'
Come gather 'round people
If to Dover you roam
And wish to pass water
You'd best do so
Before you leave home
Please accept that its so
Or you'll be drenched to the bone
Chorus:
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will feel public blast
As those present now
May later be outcast
Your term is rapidly fadin'
To counter writers and critics
Who graphito with pen
They keep their eyes wide
Your chance won't come again
And don't peak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
For up 'till now there's no public loo
Chorus:
Come councillors, aldermen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that does fart
Will yet remain un-stalled
And the battle outside is ragin'
Chorus:
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
You must organize
Now that you understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond nature's command
All sphincters are rapidly agin'
Chorus:
Chorus:
With apologies to Bob Dylan. [I may now let him off the £15 he owes me]
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

would be nice if you read that out at the meeting on wednesday tom but the public are not allowed to speak.

They should never have replaced the K6's Howard, they were most useful.
(Thinks to myself) I wonder why Graham Wanstall has never joined?
Hush your mouth Terence!

Of course if this had been other Labour cllrs
they would have been hounded
for some reason this appears to be ok.
There are some serious questions to be answered like;
Why wasn't the declaration of being the chief of the company declared? hardly something you would forget.
2; should a Cllr financially gain from such a project?
3; what influence was given to gain the contract?
