PR has always been a political factor and one that is essential for politicians to grasp. Moral worth and esteem are vital, but it is equally vital that people know about it. Sad but true these days, especially with t'internet and the mass communication industry.

I would just like to make it clear I will not be attending,at the rate payers or my own expense, The Bleriot Celebrations should be run like the Regatta weekend,at a minimal cost for the maximum of Dover People, not an event to exclude the people of Dover by having a dinner for nearly £300 that excluded nearly all of us.If the whole weekend is to be financed by this dinner than it is doomed.By the way the Council staff are being encouraged to volunteer to steward the event, with time of in Lieu with a free meal! Not surely the same meal that we have been talking about,no it will probably be Mcthingys as we can't give the workers a posh meal and nor should we.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

I know we could invite all the MP's and they can claim the money back.

Howard I don't think that JHG is one of the hapless leaders crones. Do you think Nigel will invite Sue as a sort of peace offering?
