21:1312178Nonsense Howard,
"It's all Labours fault, rubbish its all the Conservatives fault,"
rivetting stuff over and over again.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

22:3212182Gordon Brown claimed today that the do nothing approach of the Tories to the economy would be "socially divisive" and said the government would do everything it could to help those losing their jobs find work.
In a reference to the Tories stance, Brown said: Some would argue that the recession should take its course and fiscal action is counterproductive. I have to say that when markets fail, the government has a responsibility to act. And when monetary policy comes near to reaching its limits of effectiveness, fiscal action - rejected by our opponents - is essential.
I see that Barack Obama is putting the finishing touches to a $800bn fiscal stimulus and also backing the need for action the [Tory] Mayor of London Boris Johnson has made remarks today that might be seen as an embarressment to David Cameron.
While Cameron earlier today launched a wholesale attack on Brown over his handling of the downturn [and briefly mentioned tax] Boris Johnson lauded public spending investment. Writing in the Evening Standard he said: We politicians can't just sit like slack-jawed victims of some tsunami or asteroidal impact. We can't just blame Gordon Brown for 10 years of profligacy.

you have turned the corner at last.
perhaps you and keith could get together and find something in common.
admitting failures is the first step in the search for nirvana.
