CHRISTMAS EVENTS LIGHT UP THE BIG SCREEN
- 29 November 2009 12:3334066I got soaked twice! Once for the Atmosphere, twice by the rain!
Loved every minute of it, bumped into a certain red-suited councillor, Well Done, Young Man! Met a couple of Forumites including Ian & Fran with grandaughter enjoying the whole spectacle, beaming smiles and wide eyes everywhere with squeals of delight all around. The Naval Cadet Band were great, a nice touch wearing santa hats for the occasion and I even had a chat with a certain reindeer going by the name of Comet.
A few drops of rain didn't stop the multitude having some fun, it was nice to see everyone having such a great time.
Afterwards we went down to the seafront passing the Yacht Club, Cullins Yard and the Churchill Hotel along the way and they were all doing some great business. - Terry Nunn

I was walking the hound and at the same time took in a visit to the excellent Wedding Fayre at Farthingloe where we had a (unattended) stand - couldn't be in two places at once..... I have to say that the venue for weddings there is immaculate, and the new driving force behind it all, Jane Carruthers, really has given the place the massive injection of enthusiasm it needed, and she has behind her a driven and knowledgeable team. Good luck to them all.
