Yes he is very ill and cannot ride a cycle..i spoke with him today .I keep sending him postcards to try and cheer him up .

Sorry to hear that Sue. Although we are not friends or anything like that he always says " hello Alec" when he passes by on his bike. He just remembers me from the Castle Inn when we all drank in there in the old "hovercraft" days from 1970 onwards.
