Dagenham 3
Dover. 1
The win is definatly coming, the scoreline doesn't reflect the chances Dover had and the Dagenham keeper did well to keep many efforts out .
When your at the bottom of the league the small things don't go your way
But 76 Dover supporters there keeping up the support .
Notts county up next

Wealdstone 2
Dover. 1
After Dover took the lead they dominated the first half going in 1 Nil up
The second half though saw Wealdstone change and push forward a lot more
Winning second balls which they weren't doing in the first half
Wealdstone were awarded a pen
Which they missed !
It second half saw Wealdstone dominate and it was no surprize when they equalised.
The second goal came in a. Bizaar shot way over the stands and the lino gave a corner !
There was no one near enough to have connected with the shot
But corner it was and they scored from it .
Without doubt this was Dovers best first half performance for sone time
But they fell away second half and saw Wealdstone grab the three points
I think Dover were worth a draw on the first half performance

That was clear to almost everyone else last August against Boreham Wood.

Wired
I don't disagree , but it's the first time he's admitted it .
It looks now Dover will revert to playing youngsters
Coming up through youth side .
The danger at the mo is that Dover slides down the leagues .

We are miles out of our depth in this league, and in all honesty need to go down so that we can all start enjoying it again. But I agree with Keith that things now look so bad, I am starting to fear we could go strait through Conference South and into the Isthmian league. I just hope (pray) there is a grand plan bubbling away in the background!

Back to a defeat again yesterday, but 1900 Southend fans turning up might even have made Parmenter smile into his wallet.

Yes about only time he smiles
Dover had chances though .including hitting post .and a fee others where guy shot at 0 0
Probably wanting to be the hero instead of passing
But they played well

Must be time to revisit this post lol
Tuesday saw Dover rearrange a cancelled fixture through heavy rain a few months ago against Notts county ..
This time though although it had rained it appears the pitch was playable .
There seems some confusion as to how the game got postponed , where an inspection by a referee classed the pitch fit.
At 1430 the chairman says it got called off by the official in London without even coming down, because the weather forecast said it would rain heavier .
.funnily enough because it was called off I watched Folkestone win 1. 0
But would have preferred to have watched Dover .
The controversy remains with the Dover chairman now seeking compensation for lost revenue as he feels the fixture could have gone ahead .
I don't think this will go far as the chairman and the league are not the best of buddies lol
Anyway there's s short insight
