From what I hear another inept display at Crabble yesterday.
Someone posted our record for the last 4 seasons on the forum yesterday. 114 games, 17 wins. Plus no home wins since February.
Had been thinking of buying one of the £75 mini season tickets, but at the moment would struggle to see myself going to 5 home games this season.

There's undeniable logic that going down might be in our best interests, if we can't sustain football at National League South level.

FA cup game Saturday could decide fate of manager and/or some players ? , and maybe even chairman of they lose
I'm still baffled why, if team playing poor manager doesn't play Wilkinson .
But then I'm also baffled why cook and Stewart didn't start as they made a difference when they came on.

Bath. 2
Dover. 2
League leaders Bath were shaken after a poor start they made Dover went 1 up with a great strike by Dover .
Dover increased the lead in the second half with a very dubious pen. 2-0 up Dover were looking good .
Second half saw Dover do to much defending and Bath come back into the game.
Bath pulled one back and it was mainly all bath
Dover had its keeper once again to thank for making outstanding saves .
Towards the end Dover had a player sent off for second bookable offence so had to survive with ten men.
Bath did equalise , and looked like they would get a winner .
But they didn't and Dover took a point home against the league leaders .
1,800 crowd added to the day together with half time entertainment , and a community day where you paid what you wanted to get In.
Dover could learn from this day

Dover drawn away at Eastleigh in the FA Cup 4th qualifying round next week.
Tickets £10 and £5. Much better priced.

Playing league leaders Taunton at home this Sat.
A week Sat is FA cup at Eastleigh I suppose they want a bumper crowd for the A cup tie so being community minded dropped prices .
Dover chairman mAybe could learn from this as he says he was a businessman
Dover for a change will go into FA cup tie as underdogs

Another nightmare game today losing 4-3 to the only team below them.
The organised decline of the club continues.

I accept we are going down, and that's fine, but they way we go down matters. Got to get out of this negative spiral. I can see a scenario where Jakes takes over for a while and Jim considers his options. Perhaps Steve King?

This is one of the things why I have stopped going the cost is high to see them even for a OAP so to see them lose week after week it is just to much cost, but by looking at the game overall they only lose by the odd goal so they are getting goals then looks like they go off the boil. But also my legs can not stand the cold for very long and the wet, so till both the play and weather get better I cannot go.

I was at the game in Havant
Dover were two down within twelve minutes , should have been five down by half time.
Luckily got a pen to get in back to 2-1
After the break Havant got it to 4-1
With Dover getting another pen , and an Injury time third goal
The scoreline suggests it was close. It wasnt.
The club iS in serious dec!Iine and I'm the number two has come in, but little has changed whilst an 8 point gap has opened up on relegation .
The chairman appears to be stalling on a decision , but it has been clear the last two games the players hAve lost the passion .
Only the manager can change that ,
At havant the manager was encouraging his team .
Our manager was in dug out!
I wonder now if the manager has lost t he dressing room , he has in interviews stated the players didn't follow his instructions .
It is dire watching them.
But it's what true support is about , not just attending when they are winning (post 854)
I fear for the survival of the club .
I attended the meeting a while ago with Hess and the chairman where the chairman said in the NLS we would be in the top six budgets , it appears we are in bottom four .
We took a loan player from Wimbledon who changed games , but the manager left him on the bench so he returned to Wimbledon !
If we lose our other on loan player back to Bournmouth I think that will be our end .
There has to be a serious bid to change things, bring in new sponsors , a complete break from the present chairman .
It won't be easy , but it's all looking grim at the mo

Dover has no dosh and needs a decision on where it wants to be .
Going to be tough for whoever comes in.
It was a bold but probably cheap way to bring in brundle .
It hadnt worked for some time .
We can only wait and see which direction is heading now
