enough to get you wet if you dont have an unbrella.
It is a big route Maggie, but we have shortened it just a little bit. I know it is gonna be a fab day. So much work is involved in putting it all together, and in advance I want to thank ALL the DCAL team, the endless number of volunteers who step up to help steward, and to all those who have donated prizes for the raffle, with all proceeds going towards Hayley and Ashanti's travel expenses.
The kindness of people who have just turned up on my doorstep to bring round a prize for the raffle, as well as the bigger companies has simply amazed me. TRUE SUPERSTARS every one of them xx

i remember that john!!
it wasn't the scaffold, was it?
mind you, whoever it was, it was dire.
John
i was hoping to see you!
yes the famous colin with a bigger band this year - and the possibility of a super surprise guest singer - who will be at the next function if not this. Promises to be a good day today so we are up with a lark. Have already had an early card from Marek who wishes us and the carnival well and sends everyone their best.
We are especially planning to celebrate (as its the 4th July) the offer of Spanish Nationality to Gibraltar by Franco, the end of dog licences and I particularly wish to remember the end of food rationing which of course make this day special every year!
Am going early so i can spend some time checking out the stands at the priory forum do in Pencester
I am planning for at least 6 guests this year - and some kids incl PaulB!

!! lol David..
ah yes food rationing , a tad before my time, but I heard it was rough, all powdered egg and spam. We have a different kind of spam nowadays, not quite as tasty. Yes I will be over there today but alas have lost my sense of humour for the moment following the frontpage technical problems and everything else. Hopefully all the usual guys will be there.
Before that will be over in Pencester getting a picture of Deputy Mayor Jan T opening the event. Should be a good day, weather looking good.
