But will it be an hour late again?
I came past Folkestone East this afternoon and was a goods loco with a number of Pullman carriages attached in the sidings (I didn't see what was attached to the other end).
A quick bit of googling found a Victoria to Deal trip.

On the 27th there's a Canterbury trip which includes "Coach transfer to Folkestone for return journey".

Terrific sound of a steam train trailing smoke as it just went up through the town. Shame it was dark.

West Coast Railway which operates this and most other rail excursions are currently banned following a near accident, see:-
http://www.railmagazine.com/news/network/2015/04/10/network-rail-wcr-ban-reveals-ongoing-safety-concerns
Several of the forthcoming excursion have been cancelled but not apparently this one. It appears to have been hived off to another company.
I hope its sorted as we're due to go on one in September.

Before anyone gets too excited the train that Howard mentioned in #51 is cancelled due to the problem I highlighted above.

I was just driving down a very very steep hill on the north Yorkshire moors and came across a closed level crossing. Slowly but surely The Sir Nigel Greeley drove past which I believe has some claim to fame, any one tell me why?

Really Kenneth! Where have you been? Sir Nigel Gresley designed the most famous A4. Have you not heard about the furore over the duck?

I've never been one to extract the urine Ken, well not knowingly anyway.
There's a nice picture of Sir Nigel on the front page of the NYMR
