08:2738110What's wrong with business owners having money Keith ?
Profit should not be a dirty word; it's the great motivator - greed is a dirty word and the two are different.

10:1238123Business`s have to make a profit otherwise they don`t survive. Unions have always made profit look a dirty word, (and I`ve been in unions all my working life). People won`t invest their money in this country or any other if they`re not going to make a profit.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

13:0738151Sue glad to hear you finally got your bus shelter, so you can now perch in some sort of comfort.
Remember some of those chocolate names to but sometimes they tend to be the same ones but they just change the name.

21:3138191No profits not a dirty word,
but what is a dirty word is screwing the workforce.
Also we look around and see vastly overpaid people from MP's to council chiefs, to bank managers, how can bank managers justify those big bonus's?
When the chief exec of royal bank of scotland wanted to give his board directors big big bonus's
(even with there poor track record) they threatened to resign
If i were the govt i would have taken there resignation,
So no nowt wrong with profit
but like all these things theres a bigger picture

21:5538198there is a big difference, as both keith and roger have said, between profit and greed.
just been watching a documentary on the work of the uk border agency on some obscure channel.
they raided a hotel/restaurant full of frightened illegal immigrants working for a fraction of the minimum wage.
to me that is pure greed on behalf of the owners.
