Another lorry comes round and I rush out in my slippers and told the bin men there is rubbish in these bins, dont start until next week he says,I point out I am a cllr shrug of the sholders and walked off.Phone call to Mr Walton, where his secretary wet her self and said sorry but it is stupid.
I have been the biggest critic of these monsters, but if you go back to basics the rubbish was there on time in a bin,so why wasnt it collected ok so it is a bigger uglier bin than what I had but it is still rubbish in a bin.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
Thats were DDc wastes money I wonder how much all this cost

The leaflets regarding bin collections clearly state purple bags will be collected once a fortnight that is why they only provided 26 bags

Isn't it strange how the council spend all this money forcing people to accept these stupid bins which make our area even uglier and yet are unable to do something about the countless blocked drains in our roads?
Today's rainstorm highlights this issue with many roads in the area made more dangerous by blocked drains. Of course there is no ER directive ordering councils to check road drainage whereas there is one on the disposal of household waste.
I wish there was an EU directive on the other eyesore that is the giant telly in the market square.
It's a toss up between the telly or these bins as to which blight the area more.

I went to most of the meetings that was held before the bins came out. They know that there would some town houses that the bins would not be of any use, but they are sorting it out, please remember that is not only Dover got them so it will take time to get it all put right, but it will be done, just taking time to do it.

Yes it is KCC fOR Drains, and I can tell you again because I was at that KKC meeting, that the drains will only be clean out if not blocked once in five years and that is true, but will unblock any that are blocked
