- 7 July 2009 17:5425085I have just heard this from a very reliable source so please take note, if anyone stops you and asks if you are interested in some perfume and hands you a paper to smell, Don't. Its a new scam, the paper is laced with drugs, you pass out so they can rob you, or worse. Please forward to all ladies because it recently happened in the ASDA car park in Folkestone.
- 7 July 2009 18:2425086Although it is good to be vigilant about this kind of thing, I think this is one of those stories that originates as a hoax e mail. It has been circulating for a number of years all around the world, just place names etc changed. If you type perfume e mail hoax into your search engine it is pretty well documented.
It was going around where I work and we were told by our security advisors not to pass it on, as although it was good advice it was untrue. - 7 July 2009 21:1225092i have been inundated with calls tonight, by people that have taken it seriously

A few years back many of you will remember a great fuss being made about kids/teens being abducted into cars here in Dover. It stemmed from one dicey story and the rest went haywire.Afterwards it was seen to be not true...just a local frenzy that got out of hand.email: dover7@msn.com

My reliable source is a doctor who practises in Folkestone so I presumed she had somehow been connected in her medical capacity. I will be seeing her on friday so will discuss it with her further. I always, in the first instance, take this kind of advice seriously and especially having two teenage daughters of my own.
