11:038669Marek, Please keep this from Natascha. The band have specifically asked to play for the carnival court and mayor, and I want to suprise the girlies BIG TIME.
It is going to be awesome to spend the New years Eve afternoon with these guys, and then we shall all be together on New years Day taking part in the biggest parade I have ever seen in London.
I'm like a dog with 2 tails today

10:3211107Two excellent articles in the Mercury and the Express re your visit to see Status Quo.They also plugged the Bands forthcoming visit to Dover.
Are the Council holding or funding any type of reception buffet for these youngsters?
One interesting bit of news was that I was unaware that both Webby and yourself had been visited by the Fraud Squad!!The plot thickens Mandie and I'm in total agreement with you someone somewhere needs to come clean about the whole sorry but amusing affair.

12:3811117Marek you get naughtier by the day
For the record I haven't been visited by the fraud squad. I intend to smack mareks legs VERY HARD when I see him.
The town council have offered to open up the Town council offices for the band and show them around.
I know that the Americans love England's history and Quaintness, so it will be nice if the kids have time for them to take a look.
I have e-mailed just about everyone I can think of press wise. Superman Roger W adjusted my poster and that is the one you will see around town as from tomorrow. A few have gone out already to the Charlton centre and upper part of Town. I still have the main bit of Town, London Road and Cherry Tree to do, but my poor old printer is in hypa drive at the minute.
As for "coming clean " on the story marek. I honestly don't ever see us getting the answers we rightly deserve.
Very sad really, but there you go.
All I know is that the girls had a fantastic time and I have now written and posted a letter to Wembley Arena operations manager Sue Bass to thank her, along with Chris Hewlitt the Pr/promotions guy for status Quo, who were absolute diamonds. They treated our Town's ambassadors so well.

Glad to hear the various agencies were able to co-operate in time.
Dover Town Council have done very well on opening up their offices to the Band - well done DTC.
Happy to help with the poster - hope lots of people turn up, certainly be a great afternoon.
Perhaps you can smack Marek's leg this evening at the White Horse ???
