It was confirmed just now on TV that he died at 8.21pm (our time) following a heart attack.
RIP Michael
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I was very sad to read this, this morning when I logged on.
Michael Jackson, as a man and a Father, was an odd one, but as an entertainer was a GREAT one.
I love (d) his music and seeing him dance and entertain; sadly his peak was some years ago, before all the colour and face changing - much better looking before all that nonsense.
A Brilliant artist, who sadly and to a great extent, was the architect of his own demise; having said that, there were many people who tried to jump on the money-making band-wagon of bringing trumped up charges against him and as we all know - s**t sticks.
I'm very saddened by the news of his death - he brought pleasure to millions, including me.

Although his image was tarnished somewhat in recent times by those cases regarding minors he was still certainly very popular. Listening to the radio I think they said that they sold 40,000 tickets in an hour..or something similar...for his newly planned tour. Now that is popular. Yes his music was great, particularly that Earth Song, and he was an all round innovative entertainer.
From a health point of view, living in bubbles and wearing masks and so on does not do you any good in the long run. Its being out there mixing with the diseases and various microbes that gives you the protection. Not hiding from it. Hiding from it makes you more vulnerable.
I am in total shock at the death of Michael Jackson.
Whatever you thought of him as a person, and his bizare private life.
You simply cannot deny his musical genius. I have been a fan of Michael jackson since as long as I can remember, and he will be sadly missed. His music will live on for eternity in the hearts of many and in many generations to come.
He is finally at peace. RIP Michael

As Roger and others have said in music he was an Icon, and a born star.
Sadly because of his early age stardom he was never able to have a real childhood, and got caught up in a very strange life style.
But its not for me to judge.
In the music circles I loved his music'dancing and all his talent.
Sad day for the music industry

A great showman and innovative dancer, unfortunately damaged at an early stage in his all too short life. R.I.P.

The Day the Music Died - R.I.P Michael Jackson
RIP to the kiddie-fiddling pervert, but hey let's not remember that little detail coz he released a few good songs. I just keep my fingers crossed that this becomes a trend and Gary Glitter and Chris Langham go the same way.

no, o j simpson was let off, only found guilty many years later on another charge when he had less money and fame.
what sort of parent would send their children to live with a strange bloke for weeks on end?
There was plenty of evidence out there. Just because he wasn't convicted doesn't mean he wasn't guilty. OJ Simpson was found not guilty even thought he practically had the blood stained weapon in his hands. Jackson's own family condemned his actions, and he even admitted some of it. Sorry to be crude, but some kids were even able to describe his very intimate birth marks.
The rest of the blinkered world might want to mourn the loss of a pedophile but you can count me out.
