Come off it Sid, it's still a million quid that could have been better spent.

Thanks Paul, yes he was a good-un, a real character, we will miss him a lot.
Work should start on the new site early in April. Oatmor Harris busy filling in holes in the roads at the moment.

It's hoped to encourage more people to use the buses, eh? Who dreamed that one up? Have you seen just how densely that area is populated.........just how many more people are they expecting to use the buses?
True friends stab you in the front.

i think it could benefit people travelling from Dover ,Temple Ewell .River as you can change buses and get on to the number 16 going to Folkstone . .Currently there is no bus to Barham .I cannot always attend funerals as there is not a direct bus .
My son tells me I will be able to get off near the new Bridge and catch a bus to Hawkinge where he lives ?/
Mind you Im scared of heights .

Saw the bridge last night on my way back from Canterbury, very stylish, lets hope it is widely used
It was just after 9pm and I wasn't expecting the roadworks that apparently come into fore at that time. The opposite carriageway was completly closed and the glaring flashing lights from the many engineering vehicles were extremely blinding. The inside lane from Canterbury to Sheperdswell was closed and the same blinding lights from the work vehicles made it even more difficult, but most of the traffic just kept soaring down the only lane open at top speed so all a wee bit scary. I didn't see a lower speed limit in view of the roadworks which is quite disconcerting to say the least.
I guess when it is all done and dusted it will be worth it but be careful along that stretch for now

Colette my dear, it will be a maximum speed limit, not a minimum. Lady drivers tut tut!
