Thanks Melissa and Mark I knew it was two words but old brain is in over load ..
Of course Mark most people will go to the pub to watch the matches .Inside out of the cold or maybe heat of the sun ,and comfortable chairs and drink and food on hand .
The rest of us sitting in our homes with food and drink on tap .\who wants to sit outside .

most of us want to be outside on a nice day susan.
being with other people to share the excitement of a big event just adds to the pleasure.

Its called free choice Sue, those that want to stay inside with food and drink on tap still could, those that want to watch it with others and a community atmosphire should also be allowed to.

Glad to hear it Sue, oh, and by the way, the Morrismen don't beat ach other with sticks. In the dance they merely try to pulverise the other dancer's stick. I think the dance is called Tom Collins, or something like that. Followed Cambridge Morris many years ago, but avoided the temptation to join the dance troupe. I was more part of the support team, usually found supporting the bar!
If the screen is so badly positioned why not move it Walmer Green or Deal sea front?
