  The Garden competition was where we got locals togethr in an attempt to brighten up there own comunities gving a first second and third prize for best gardens.
  worked wel for a few years, but like everything else volunteers were few and far between, and again because of this it as decided to disband this group whch is a great shame.
  
  but whilst it was in existance it worked well and brought people together
  mauybe more projects like this are needed but also volunteers need to come forward AS WELL
