09:1829911That is a commercial matter and it is up to those running the business and the shareholders. If you are not one of those then you have quite rightly no say in the matter. This is a free country (still I think) and no Government should be allowed to dictate such matters. If you were one of the elderly people I advise who depend on dividens for a major part of your income you would not be so smug as to suggest this.

13:5429916barryw,so you think i smug well i dont think so.the reason being that i or evan you might end up in one of so called care homes where the shareholders come first and us second.i rather live in one of these care homes that puts me first as in care than shareholders dont.all they see is quid signs in there eyes.there are other investments where people are not on the menu so to speak.by the way i am not against investing for a pension fund but i would look at other opertunaies first.

if i was to invest £1000 into one of thesr care home thingys for a pension,what would the percentage be on admin and actull money going to the paients care.if you could put that into simple terms so everybody can understand.

11:5430024Brian - what is proposed is not an investment, or a pension it is an insurance.
As a rule you do not, or should not, mix up investment and insurance. Doing so gives you the worse of both worlds.

You and I will rarely agree, but theres nowt wrong in that, but what is important
is that people are allowed to post without fear of personal attack.
Your comments on MAREK were unfortunate, whilst you may agree with him
to say he has no knowledge realy doesn't do your case much justice.
And i'm pleased MAREK explained all or part of his vast knowledge.
2; ROGER
As I said if only i could go along with you. the leaflet in the county elections
was nothing short of a disgrace, totally personal, and did nothing for politics
local or National
It is refreshing to hear ROGER that you spoke out to your party in
disgust at that leaflet, whats more concerning is they ignored you!!!!!
3; Must say met ROGER and SHIELA in town today, lots of chat just one happy
family lol
4; And yesterday met SUE N. another long chat so much we agree on
life is funny, isn't it?????

I do know MAREK can defend himself,
my worry is barryw postings will put people off postings
