That is a shame that locals didn't support a clean up, and i'm pleased you have a new committee.
Speaking with your treasurer a few times over the past few weeks he was unaware of your meeting at the hall, so maybe it was a communication/advertising issue on why locals didn't turn up?

Unfortunately we don't have a new committee as no one from the local community turned up. I have the email addresses of everyone who took part in the last clean up so they were all included. I also have our treasurer's email so he was included unless he has changed it and not told me.
There will be a full leaflet drop before the clean up so hopefully we can find some volunteers. I will also post full details on here to invite anyone who may not live in the area but want to help out. It's not for want of trying.
I think we are all guinea pigs in the middle of an experiment for which they have forgotten to set up a control group!
